A little thread just to discuss everything related to the Pilgrim books. Talk about your favourite characters and anything else here.


My favourite character is kinda a hard choice between Scott himself, Wallace and Knives. Ramona kick ass too but I much prefer the other three.

My favourite character so far is Wallace. He's just so funny!

I only started reading this morning and I've had school today, so I'm up to chapter 4.

Ahh Ramona come closer, yeah you've got some great Wallace bits too look forward too.

Have you managed to track down the other books?

And Wallace I agree is the funniest, but Knives is so sympathetic. Also Scott's a bit dim, which is why it's hard to choose between the 3.

I found them all at the same time, but my mum said that I couldn't get them if I was getting One Piece. They were in a 3 for 2 sale too...

What all 6 Books?

I've only managed to find them online, on play.com

They were at Waterstones. I'm applying for EMA anyway, so hopefully I should be able to get the rest soon.

Then I'll have to hold back spoiling the rest for you, so I'll only talk about "Precious Little Life" for now.

Whats been you're favourite bit so far? I personally like the moment when Scott first talks to Ramona. And also when you see the apartment for the first time and it shows what belongs to who.

Probably the email. Scott's reaction was priceless! And I should be going to see the film this weekend, so I'd better at least try to finish Precious Little Life before then.

I can't say if the film will spoil the other books for you, but I have heard people saying it's a truefull adaption.

Either way though I hope you enjoy the film.

I watched a review that said the ending was different and it sometimes explains things too quickly. The reviewer also said that it might be best to read the comics first, but I suppose that the story is fairly predictable.

Well in the comics theres a lot more details and theres some things you for sure won't see coming. (or maybe you will)

And yeah I heard the film ends different too

I finished Precious Little Life before bed last night. I might try to get some of the others next weekend.

Number 3 I'd say is one of the best, though you should really get them in order.
